Announcement on Issuing the National Standard of Code for Planning and Design of Urban Distribution Network

The Code for Planning and Design of Urban Distribution Network，numbered GB 50613-2010，is hereby approved as a Chinese national standard and will come into effect on February 1，2011.Articles 6.1.2 and 6.1.5 are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly.

This code will be published and distributed by China Planning Press as authorized by Research Institute of Standards and Norms，Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People\'s Republic of China.

Foreword

This code is jointly developed by China Southern Power Grid Co.，Ltd.，State Grid Corporation of China and other organizations as required by the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Preparation and Revision Plan of Standards for Engineering Construction（second batch）for 2007（JB〔2007〕126）issued by the former Ministry of Construction.

Summarizing the experience and research achievements in China\'s urban distribution network over the past years and through wide consultation，this code is finalized after a series of discussions，revisions，and reviews.

This code consists of 11 chapters and 5 appendices.The 11 chapters are General，Terms，Urban Distribution Network Plan，Power Source of Urban Distribution Network，Urban Distribution Network，HV Distribution Network，MV Distribution Network，LV Distribution Network，Secondary Part of Distribution Network，Power Supply for Users，as well as Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection.

Provisions marked in bold in this code are compulsory and must be implemented strictly.

Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People\'s Republic of China is responsible for the interpretation of compulsory provisions in this code.Standardization Center of China Electricity Council is responsible for daily management of this code.China Southern Power Grid Co.，Ltd.is responsible for explanation of the technical contents in this code.During the implementation of this code，the concerned organizations are expected to carefully summarize the experience and collect the relevant information based on the project practices and at any time refer any comments and suggestions to China Southern Power Grid Co.，Ltd.at the address:No.6，Huasui Road，Zhujiang New City，Tianhe District，Guangzhou，Guangdong，Postcode:510623，for reference in the future revision of the code.
