When I was at university, I learned a little English. After my graduation, I didn\'t use English much. Sometimes I might say some broken English phrases. Of course, that only happened after I had a few drinks with friends or family members. I have no idea if they could understand my \"liquor English\" .

With the economic globalization and the expansion of SDIC\'s international business,I feel more and more that I need to communicate with my foreign business partners directly. But with my poor English back then, I could hardly do that. So I had a dream that one day I could understand foreigners and talk with them in English without difficulty. I put this dream on paper and stuck it on the classroom wall on the very first day of IETP7. Today, I can say proudly and loudly, \"Yes, I can!\", because I have realized this dream.

With the help of all the teachers and classmates, I now have not only the ability to speak English, but also the courage to speak English in public and with foreign friends. For example, I made my first English banquet toast; I gave my first English speech; I acted in my first English short play. One month ago, I met with two foreign delegations at my corporation. I talked with the delegates in English for quite a while. I felt really great because I could use English in real communications. I am no longer the man speaking broken English only after drinking.

Ladies and gentlemen, at this closing ceremony of IETP7, please allow me to express my sincere thanks to you all. I\'d like to thank the organizers who made it possible for us to study here. I\'d like to thank all the teachers for your help. My special thanks go to my dear partner Lucas. He has been with me through the past 106 days, giving me the courage, the wisdom, and the strength in studying English. I think we are ideal partners. We are true buddies.

At this moment, the 106 hard-working and happy days come to my mind day by day.The devoted teachers gave us care and help even when they were ill. The loving classmates supported and encouraged each other. I\'ll never forget the IETP7 class song. I\'ll never forget the beautiful music from Norman\'s guitar. I\'ll never forget the hearty laughter at dining table. I\'ll never forget the sometimes painful but always joyful English learning moments.

We still have a long way to go in English study. However I\'m sure as long as we continue our efforts to study, English will help us do our jobs better and serve our nation better. So let\'s believe in ourselves: Yes, we can!？
