第三版前言
为适应经济社会发展对人才的需要,高等院校已将人才培养重心转向实用型、复合型和创新型上,突出以职业能力培养为主线的人才培养目标,并投入大量的财力提升教学设施。各类实训实践教学中心的建立,改变了传统的教育模式,学校教学不仅仅是传授给学生“学以致用”的知识,更能让学生在“用中学”,掌握实际工作所需的实际操作能力和应变创新能力。与此同时,教学课程改革和教材开发也需紧跟形势发展,满足实用型人才培养的要求。
正是在这样的社会和教育发展的背景下,我们将文秘业务与英语实际应用能力紧密结合,强调英语口语和文书写作在文秘工作中的重要性,修订《文秘英语实训》,旨在更好地培养出合格的实用型涉外秘书人才。众多使用该教材的院校一致认为本教材“实用、管用、易用”,我校也将本书两次选送上海市教育成果奖。这是该教材的第三版,重点突出以下两个方面:
一、凸显“实用、管用、易用”。全书从培养秘书人才的英语实际应用能力出发,特别突出对口语和写作能力的培养。口语表达能力围绕秘书工作的日常活动展开,内容包括:接待工作、接打电话、业务电话、会议安排、处理事务等五章,每章内容涵盖实际工作中的秘书实务,设置仿真情景对话、要点释意和经典句型,同时配上基础知识操练和培养实际运用能力相结合的练习,有利于学生巩固已学知识和情景口语表达,以便在实际工作中灵活运用已学知识和技能。文秘英语文书写作技能围绕秘书工作中的各类文书写作而展开,内容包括:工作文书、礼仪文书、社交文书、人力资源文书和商务文书。每种文书都用英文说明写作技巧和要点,并根据需要,每种文书编写2~3篇样文。样文内容新颖实用,形式多样,语言规范;注释充分体现重点、难点,以点带面,举一反三;练习既有基础语言知识操练,又有实践写作训练;重点句型是对每种信函写作中的常用语句进行归纳总结,以便学生实际运用。
二、教材与考证紧密对接。此次修订增加了目前影响比较大的考证内容,比如“剑桥商务英语证书”考试(BEC),国家人力资源和社会保障部“商务英语岗位能力证书”考试(CBET)等,旨在让学生通过有针对性的强化实训,获得有助于就业的相关资格证书。同时,丰富了教学资源库,除了以前的教参外,历年使用该教程的教师还制作了课件PPT,并配备了考试题。参与修订的教师除了一线骨干教师外,我们还邀请了世界500强的外资秘书加盟。参与第三版修订的院校和企业有:上海建桥学院、上海电机学院、上海健康医学院、苏州职业大学、华为技术有限公司、上海港澳资讯等。
本教材中所列举的与秘书岗位英语能力密切相关的三种商务英语证书考试,所选的模拟题和全真题,均摘自参考数目中列出的相关书籍。为了让学生能很好地了解这三种证书考试的题型和要求,我们没有对摘选的各类考试题内容作改动,只是在一些数据和时间上做了一点微调,特此说明。
第三版的修订与第二版一样,注重实用性和针对性,从社会和企业的需要出发,遵循注重实践、培养能力的指导思想而编写,相信一定能切实提高使用者的英语应用能力。
本书虽然已经是第三版,我们仍然认真负责地进行修订,但挂一漏万,总会有这样或那样的不足和错误之处,万望同行和本书的读者批评指正!

(A:Lucy Zhang B:Mr.Green)
A:Good afternoon,sir.Can I help you?
B:Yes.I\'d like to meet your general manager.Here\'s my card.
A:Thank you,Mr.Green.I\'m afraid our general manager Mr.Wang didn\'t know you\'re here.
B:You\'re right.We didn\'t make an appointment.Is it possible for him to see me now?
A:I\'m sorry,Mr.Green.Mr.Wang is out now,and he won\'t be back until 3:30 pm.
B:That\'s too bad.
A:Can the assistant manager meet you instead?
